Still static

Did not help with static.

Hi Linda,

Thank you for reaching out about the static cling issue you are experiencing. It is important to note that static cling can be caused by a variety of factors, such as dryer settings, the type of clothes being dried, and the humidity in the air. Winter months can indeed contribute to static cling as the air tends to be drier.

We do have some tips that may help you to alleviate the static cling issue:

Make sure to use all 6 of the Friendsheep Eco Dryer Balls in the dryer. Using a larger number of dryer balls can help separate clothes in the dryer and allow air to circulate more efficiently, reducing static cling.

Double check your dryer settings. Over drying can contribute to static cling, so make sure to adjust your drying time accordingly. Using a moisture sensitive setting or setting the drying time 5-10 minutes shorter than usual can help.

Make sure not to overload the dryer. Overloading the dryer can prevent the dryer balls from separating the clothes and allowing air to circulate properly.

Try separating synthetic and natural fibers when drying. Synthetic fibers tend to cause more static cling, so separating them from natural fibers can help.

Check the humidity in your home. Static cling is more common in dry or low humidity conditions, so if you live in a dry climate or use air conditioning, consider using a humidifier to add moisture to the air.

Also, you can try washing and drying the dryer balls a few times to rejuvenate the wool fibers.

We hope that these tips help to alleviate the static cling issue you are experiencing. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase and are happy to help.
